Last seen in life on 15th February 1871 and body found on 3rd March 1871, in the Basin of the Forth and Clyde Canal at Bowling in the Parish of West Kilpatrick, Co Dumbarton. Cause of Death. Drwned by accidently falling into said canal basin while in a state of intoxication. John Spiers Surgeon. West Kilpatrick made post mortem examination of body and certified.
