To my eldest daughter, Mary Best now Kent, L 5 to be paid twelve months after testator's death.

To daughters, Ann Varcoe, Elizabeth Best, Faney [ Fanny] Best: each to be paid L5 , 12 months after testator's death.

To son, James Best, L 10 to be paid , twelve months after testator's death. " And the said, James Best to work on my estates and to be paid ten pounds p' year and his meat to be paid for by Executor. To wife, Frances Best, " all the rest residue and reminder of my ready money and personel estates, stock, houshold goods, credits, chattels and efets. Movable and inmovable of any kind or Nature whatsoever.

Philomon married Frances Varcoe, daughter of John Varcoe and Mary Sincock, on 6 Jul 1801 in St Stephen In, Brannel, , Cornwall, England. (Frances Varcoe was born about 1771 in St Dennis, Cornwall, christened on 19 May 1771 in St Dennis Cornwall England and died on 8 Sep 1846 in Roche, Cornwall.)
