Noted events in her life were: • Occupation. The 1873 Kelly's Directory listed (Mrs) Mary Julian and Son, Coal Merchants at 7 High Cross St, St Austell. In 1881 Mary described herself as a retired Coal Merchant. Her daughter Ann was her Housekeeper and she had a Domestic Servant. Mary married Benjamin Drew Julian, son of John Julian and Honour Ellery, on 2 Jan 1825 in Holy Trinity, St Austell. (Benjamin Drew Julian was christened on 2 Nov 1800 in St Austell, Cornwall, died on 21 Nov 1866 and was buried on 26 Nov 1866 in Holy Trinity, St Austell.) |
