Frank H. Klucken, a lithographer for 43 years with the former John Worley Co., music printers in Roxbury, died of heart disease Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford. He was 91 and lived in New Bedford. Dated 5/10/1898
Franciscus Heinrich Klucken (or Frank Henry) was my great-great-grandfather. He was born in Mainz, Germany and served in the French Foreign Legion. He was a lithographer. He was married to Paulina Sivori in Italy. They had 12 children. I don't know how may lived to grow up. After she died he married my great-great-grandmother Luigia (or Louise) Callero. She had one child with him when he left her with all the children and came to the US to escape the Mafia who wanted him to make plates to counterfeit money. After a year she came to the US (first Boston, I think) with all the children and they had 11 more children together (not all lived to grow up). My great-grandmother, Georgia Henrietta Klucken, was born in Brooklyn and was one of the youngest. She married my great-grandfather, Henry Barton Gower Hose in 1903 and died in 1907 of tuberculosis. He then married her sister, Mary Adelaide. Mary Adelaide died in 1961 when I was 9 years old so I remember her very well. Most of Frank Henry's sons became lithographers and some of their work is in the Library of Congress. Sent by email from his great-great granchild.

Frank next married Louisa Collaro, daughter of Joseph Collaro and Unknown, on 6 Aug 1864 in Montoggio, Genova, Italy. (Louisa Collaro was born in Dec 1845 in Genoa, Italy and died on 15 Sep 1923 in 116 Winthrop Street, Queens, New York.)
